FORMS & FEES
Please note that all processing of all forms involves their being sent by post to the VRB in Antwerp and then the new or updated license being sent back to the Club Secretary in Brussels. Therefore, if you want to have any chance of playing on any given weekend then the Club Secretary must be in possession of your completed forms before the preceding Monday at 16:00 at the latest!
All new club members who are also signing up for the first time within the Belgian Rugby Federation need only complete two forms: The Medical Form and the Registration Form. Make sure these are completely filled out and signed and dated and stamped where applicable. Return the completed forms to the Club Secretary ASAP! (If you do not want to play in competitive League or Cup matches you need only complete and hand in the Registration Form.)
Anyone transferring to Brussels Celtic from another club in Belgium will also need to complete a Transfer Form. Return the form with the first 2 boxes completed to the Club Secretary ASAP! (Transfers can only be made between May and September!)
Anyone who has previously registered with Brussels Celtic but needs to annually renew their insurance and eligibility to play in League or Cup matches must get a new Medical Form completed. (If you got your medical done between September 1st & December 31st of any given year and handed it in to the Club Secretary it remains valid until December 31st of the following year! Otherwise, any medical form obtained and handed in between January 1st and August 31st of any year only remains valid until December 31st of that same year)
VUB students who only want to train with us need neither pay any fees nor complete any forms! If they do want to play in competitive League & Cup matches they will first need to complete and hand in the forms and pay the annual fee, though at the standard student discount.
Go to Membership for all necessary registration documents and fee details.
DOCTORS
To complete the Medical Form please arrange an appointment as soon as possible after your third training session with your own doctor or else with the doctors at 13 Rue du Spa (Tel. 02/230 45 56) which is right near the Maelbeek and Schuman Metro stations.
GETTING ONTO THE MAILING LIST
To be kept up to date with all training and match info as well as with all social events and other club business you need to get onto the mailing list. Therefore, once you have attended three trainings and have decided that you will indeed be joining the club then please go to http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/BCRFC/ and click on the “Join This Group!” button just above the Brussels Celtic logo. If I recognize your name and can place it with someone who has actually been to training then you will be approved! Please note that Hotmail seems to block any and all Yahoogroups emails and that we suggest that you try to join using another email service.
