The first 3 training sessions are free . After that you will need to turn in your registration form, medical form, and pay your dues!
FORMS
There are two forms that must be completed and for those who forget or are not aware that we are in Belgium or are part of the Vlaamse Rugby Bond the answer is: NO, these forms are not in English or French!
The first form is the Registration Form and must be completed carefully and signed and dated by your parents if you are 16 or younger. (If you do not yet have a Belgian ID then fill in your foreign ID or Passport information where required). Please fill in the club name where required. (Example completed form)
The second form is the Medical Form and this is partially filled out by yourself and the bottom left of it is completed by your doctor who must sign and stamp the part he/she completes. The medical examination should cost you less than €30 and take 5-10 minutes maximum! (example completed form)
Once you have completed both the forms then please return the originals to the coach or the rugby school director. We will get you a license. The license entitles you to FBRB insurance AND authorizes you to play in all FBRB sanctioned matches.
DOCTORS
Please arrange an appointment as soon as possible after your third training session with your own doctor or else the doctors at 13 Rue du Spa (Tel. 02/230 45 56) which is right near the Maelbeek and Schuman Metro stations.
FEES
Please note that as soon as we get you your license you systematically become a tangible financial burden to the club as the club must pay for this license and the insurance that comes with it. This is of course in addition to other tangible though less exclusive costs such as those related to pitch and facilities, (legal) payments to referees, Laundromat costs for the jerseys, tournament entry fees, medical box expenses, balls, etc.
Therefore, to cover all these costs you are expected [and will be hounded] to pay your fees as soon as possible after your third training session. The fees have been set as follows:
- U9s U11s & U13s - €140 for your first child
- U15s & U17s - €175 for your first child
We offer a 50% discount for the second and subsequent child in the same family registered in the rugby school:
- U9s U11s & U13s - €70 for your second + subsequent child
- U15s & U17s - €87.5 for your second + subsequent child
Players whose fees have not been paid 2 months after the due date (or 2 months after having joined), and who do not have a reasonable excuse will be subject to a €10 late fee, This will be increased to €20 if payment has not been received 4 months after the due date.
Payments can be made either by bank transfer, or by Paypal for credit card payments. Note that using paypal costs the club 3.5% of each transaction, so bank transfers are preferred when possible.

THESE FEES ARE FOR THE WHOLE SEASON! If you join the club in January or thereafter then please contact our club treasurer or Rugby School Director about a half-season discount.
